As I work my way through the OPR, I'm finding occasional records of burials. Most are of little use as they contain no information--for example, the entry for March 4 1797 reads: A person from West Laws Do from Swinton A woman from Upsettlington
The only information to be gained from this is that people were not necessarily buried in their home churchyard. There are many others that simply say "an old man", "a child" or something similar and the record seems to be more to keep track of fees paid to the grave diggers than the burials. However, a few do name people, and I'll include them here as I find them.

Between 1 October 1786 and 1 October 1787 Willm Paterson - Jardinefield Mrs Tait - Langrig Jas Maul's son John Richardson's child (plus 10 unnamed people)
Between 1 October 1787 and 1 October 1788 Alison Runciman from West Laws Elisabeth Blair Upsettlington (plus 10 unnamed people)
Between 1 October 1788 and 1 October 1789 Peter Cunningham (plus 5 unnamed people, duty paid; "several buried for which collect no duty")
Between 1 October 1789 and 1 October 1790 Mrs Mason - Whitsome Hill Jeffrey from Wood End William Dumble Alexr Tunter (plus 5 unnamed people)
Between 1 October 1791 and 1 October 1794 15 unnamed people
