Erected by John Chisholm proprietor of Eagle Hall in memory of Helen Blair his spouse who died June 5, 1842 aged 78 years

Erected in memory of James Redden who died 14 April 1860 860 years.
Also his son David who died 27 1858 aged 25 years.
And his grandson Andrew Redden died January 1863 aged five years and 8 months.
And James son of the above James Redden who died at Whitelaw 22 March 1883 aged 53 years.
And Margaret Mathewson wife of the above James Redden who died at Whiterigg 21 February 1890 aged 90 years.
And ….. Wilkinson wife of [remainder of stone buried]

And Allice his daughter died July 21, 1830 aged three years.
And Allice his second daughter died September 28, 1842 aged 6 years.
And the above Thomas Gibson who died 22 June 1871 aged 70 years

John their second son died 7 September, 1918 aged 26 years.
The above David White died 11 May 1925 aged 67 years.
