EADIS Target Groups

To secure a sustainable future for the Automotive Industry going forward, Government, Industry and Academia are going to need to work together to define a common strategy and ensure that the UK workforce is equipped with the necessary skills to drive the strategy forward (UK automotive industry in 2020, Ricardo and Skills4Auto March 2006).

The target groups for this project are;

• The automotive industry , including small medium and large companies from design houses, consultants through to manufacturers and suppliers, transport related research laboratories and industry policy boards (Government & non government).
• Employees working within design teams in any of the aforementioned organisations. They will be educated to degree level and will have had at least one years experience within the automotive industry
• European Higher education institutions providing courses in industrial design.
• Government bodies looking for an achievable solution to climate change and congestion – The incorporation of technology within cars is becoming increasingly important to solving the aforementioned issues.
