One of the things I always wanted with this crane is an orange peel grab or a dredging grab.
Well the dredging grab is done ( scroll down for the pictures ) so now i am working on the orange peel grab.
And it will be something like the one below.
Most of the drawing work is done and this is the digital version.
still have to add some small details.
In the mean while I start working on the real thing as well.
It's only a start and a lot has to be done , but it's something.
Tagline winder is done and it works perfect for both grabs.
This is the finished grab.

The next thing will be a bit bigger job.
I am gone rebuild the control for 3 reasons and this one was intended for temporary use only.
First of all I would like to have more lever style controls instead of the small switches.
Second reason is that the transformer inside the control is a bit to light.
This sometimes is a problem when using more functions at the same time.
And the third reason is that I want to make a 12 volt supply on the control.
So that the model can be taken outside and I finally can do some serious digging somewhere in the mud.
Another thing that I will try is to get some more info on the guy derrick configuration.
And see if I can work this out in drawings for producing it.
It will be real difficult because I don't have much info so far.
And it will be the first parts that I can't see with my own eyes.
But we will see how it works out.
So if anyone have some photos or other kind of info it will be a great help.
